Restore The Music UK

Complete restructure and re-write of the Restore The Music website

The previous version of the site was very text-heavy, with lots of unnecessary info that took away from the overall mission of the charity. Check out the site here.

They wanted a site that was simpler, more compelling and easier to navigate. They also wanted to make their work more prominent, and make it quicker to donate.

I took all the information that was on the site, and had interviews with Polly, the CEO about the messages we needed to get across.

From there:

  • Designed the page structure and content outline, with a strong focus on promoting a donation.

  • Advised where buttons and CTAs needed to be.

  • Re-wrote all the copy.

  • Worked with Kara, who designed the site and put it all together, troubleshooting along the way.

  • Got approval from Polly at key points.

  • Polished and tweaked until we went live on launch day.

  • As a bonus, it was mostly illustrated with my photography from events over the past year.
